Welcome to the 2011 Wood Buffalo Country Fair, a unique local event that showcases the artistic, culinary, artisanal, and horticultural talent and tradition in the Wood Buffalo region.

Our region is filled with talented people and the Wood Buffalo Country Fair gives them the opportunity to share their creations. Crafters and artisans from across the region showcase their arts and crafts during this summer celebration, and visitors who come to see the masterpieces enjoy fine food and entertainment along with a slice of Wood Buffalo arts and culture. With a number of categories, there is something for every age and interest.

This year we are pleased to announce a chili cook-off and pie-eating contest, two exciting new events that we know you will enjoy. As a part of interPLAY this year, we are excited to grow this event and showcase our local talent.

We would like to thank all our sponsors, partners and dedicated volunteers, whose generosity ensures that this event is a success. We would also like to thank Composite High School for providing us with the venue for this year’s Country Fair.
